Dublin is located in Cheshire County, New Hampshire. The town was founded in 1752, and was originally called Monadnock No. 3. The town’s population was 300 by 1775, and grew to over 1,000 by 1800. According to the 2000 U. S. Census Bureau, Dublin’s population at the time was 1,476 people. This included 560 households and 417 families. Dublin is home to Yankee Publishing Inc., publishers of Yankee Magazine and the Old Farmer's Almanac. It is also home to the Dublin Christian Academy, founded in 1963, Dublin School, a private boarding school founded in 1935, and The Walden School, a music camp on the Dublin School’s campus.
